Air France-KLM has announced the launch of a capital increase aimed at raising 2.256 billion euros. The Franco-Dutch carrier thus wants to continue to strengthen its balance sheet and accelerate the reimbursement of state aid received to get through the Covid crisis. The operation will result in the issue of 1,928 million shares at a unit subscription price of 1.17 euro. This represents a 73% discount to Monday’s closing price.
