Air France-KLM: in the red, a broker lowers its target

(CercleFinance.com) – Air France-KLM sells nearly 1.5% in Paris, penalized by an analysis by UBS which on Wednesday renewed its ‘neutral’ opinion on the title while lowering its price target of 4.5 at 4.1 euros.

In a note devoted to the aviation sector in Europe, the design office says it foresees a ‘new era’ for carriers this year, which it sees starting smoothly but ending with fanfare.

‘If we do not expect traffic in 2022 to return to its 2019 levels, we expect a continuation of the ongoing recovery,’ he predicts.

From this perspective, his preferred stocks remain IAG and easyJet, both of which he recommends for purchase.

Regarding Air France-KLM, which it sees aligning a new operational loss this year, UBS emphasizes that its new price target shows a downside potential at current price levels.
