Air France-KLM: mandate of the CEO renewed – 03/31/2022 at 08:48


(CercleFinance.com) – Air France-KLM announces the early renewal of Benjamin Smith’s term of office as Chief Executive Officer, for a period of five years, i.e. until the general meeting called to approve the financial statements for the 2026 financial year , scheduled for May 2027.

The airline’s board of directors also approved a proposal by KLM’s supervisory board to appoint Marjan Rintel as chief executive of KLM, its Dutch banner, replacing Pieter Elbers.

Marjan Rintel is currently Managing Director of NS, the main train operator in the Netherlands. Before joining NS in 2014, she held various operational and commercial positions within KLM and Air France-KLM.
