(CercleFinance.com) – Air Liquide announces investing more than 50 million euros to build a new innovative production unit in Singapore and to transform its current facilities located in Malta (New York State), with the aim of providing ultra-pure nitrogen to GlobalFoundries.
Air Liquide’s new unit in Singapore, which is expected to be operational by 2026, will enable the French industrial gases group to reduce its electricity consumption and Globalfoundries to achieve significant energy savings.
Air Liquide has also renewed its partnership with Globalfoundries for the next 15 years to supply ultra-pure gases to existing units in Malta, units which will be transformed by the implementation of energy efficiency projects.
