Air Liquide: support from Brussels for the D’Artagnan project


(CercleFinance.com) – Air Liquide announces the European Commission’s decision to support D’Artagnan, a CO2 transport and export infrastructure project, supported by the industrial gas group and Dunkerque LNG, to reduce costs. emissions from the Dunkirk basin.

This project will include an Air Liquide pipeline to transport CO2 from capture locations and a terminal in the port of Dunkirk, in order to liquefy it and load it onto ships. It would represent an investment estimated at more than 400 million euros.

The first CO2 infrastructure project in France to obtain support from the European Union, D’Artagnan would benefit from a subsidy of more than 160 million under the CEF-E financing program if the project is carried out.
