Happy SATC fans can sip cosmopolitan in Carrie’s Upper East Side apartment, swap the latest gossip on a cordless phone from 2000, sleep in Carrie’s bed – and even use her iconic closet!
To celebrate the upcoming launch of “And Just Like That…” in December, the highly anticipated reboot of “Sex and the City,” Sarah Jessica Parker opens the doors to Carrie Bradshaw’s New York apartment.
It has been over 20 years since the unhappily in love columnist Carrie Bradshaw entered the world stage in “Sex and the City”. While the anticipation of seeing Carrie again in “And Just Like That …” rises, Sarah Jessica Parker is expanding her repertoire to include the role of hostess on Airbnb and is offering fans a unique stay in Carrie’s apartment in November.
“The character of Carrie Bradshaw is very important to me and it has been a great pleasure for me to relive her world for the continuation of the story of Sex and the City,” says Sarah Jessica Parker. “I’m looking forward to our viewers getting to know New York as Carrie once experienced it and literally slipping into their shoes for the first time.”
This is what guests can expect during their stay:
- Sarah Jessica Parker will greet you when you check in.
- The wonderful feeling of stepping down the steps of your apartment and strolling through the streets of Manhattan – without the splashing of puddles from a passing bus.
- Drink cosmopolitans.
- The opportunity to admire Carrie’s legendary wardrobe and dress up, including her favorite looks like the iconic Patricia Field tutu she wore in the opening credits – and of course a huge selection of shoes.
- A styling session and a photo shoot where the guests can let their inner fashionistas run free.
To be too good to be true?
Unfortunately yes, at least for most of us! Because this unique experience can only be booked by US citizens who are resident in the USA. But maybe you’re lucky enough to be one of them? Then you can try to book Carrie’s apartment from November 8th at airbnb / sexandthecity. The two stays, each with one night for up to two guests, will take place on November 12th and 13th.
