(CercleFinance.com) – Consolidated revenue amounted to 24.8 billion euros in the 1st half of 2022 (compared to the 1st half of 2021: 24.6 billion euros). A total of 297 commercial aircraft were delivered (1st half of 2021: 297 aircraft),

Commercial aircraft gross orders increased to 442 (H1 2021: 165 aircraft) with net orders of 259 aircraft after cancellations (H1 2021: 38 aircraft). The backlog stood at 7,046 commercial aircraft as of June 30, 2022.

Adjusted EBIT related to Airbus’ commercial aircraft activities remained broadly stable at €2,276 million (H1 2021: €2,291 million).

Consolidated net income amounted to 1,901 million euros (1st half of 2021: 2,231 million euros) with reported consolidated earnings per share of 2.42 E (2.84 E in the 1st half of 2021).

The company now aims to deliver around 700 commercial aircraft in 2022. It maintains its target of around €5.5 billion in adjusted EBIT and around €3.5 billion in free cash flow before M&A and client financing in 2022.
