PARIS, Aug 31 (Reuters) – Airbus said on Wednesday chief financial officer Dominik Asam will leave the company in 2023 to become chief financial officer of German software giant SAP.
“The company will now prepare the succession of Dominik Asam who will remain in full charge until his departure,” the aircraft manufacturer said in a statement.
Airbus shares opened down 0.8% on the Paris Stock Exchange.
SAP was not immediately available for comment. In recent months, the software company was looking for a chief financial officer.
Asam, an engineer by training, joined Airbus in 2019.
