(CercleFinance.com) – Thales announced yesterday that it has been chosen by Airbus Helicopters to supply it with third-generation combined emergency equipment (IESI) intended to equip new civil and military helicopters – more particularly the H135, H145, H160 dual and H175.
‘This new generation of IESI is specifically adapted to the constraints of helicopters and its environmental footprint is significantly reduced. The gradual entry into service will begin in 2026’, says Thales.
Integrating pressure sensors and probes, accelerometers and gyrometers which form an artificial horizon and an LCD display into a single piece of equipment, the IESI presents the pilot with the speed, altitude and attitude of the aircraft, essential information for ensure safe flight.
