Airbus delivered 39 planes and received no orders in August

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–European aeronautics and defense group Airbus announced on Thursday that it had delivered 39 planes to 22 customers and had received no new orders for planes in August 2022. In the first eight months of the year, the Boeing rival delivered 382 aircraft to 62 customers. However, the net number of deliveries since January 1 stands at 380, in order to deduct two deliveries recorded in December 2021 and destined for the Russian airline Aeroflot “for which a physical transfer was not possible due to the sanctions international” targeting Russia, said Airbus.
