PARIS (Reuters) – European aircraft manufacturer Airbus delivered just over 45 aircraft in July, industry sources told Reuters on Tuesday.

The group did not wish to comment on the figures which have not been audited, a monthly activity report to be published next Monday.

If these figures for July are confirmed, this would bring the number of deliveries since the beginning of the year to just over 342 aircraft or just over 340 aircraft taking into account the two Airbus A350s which could not be delivered. to Russia because of the sanctions imposed on Moscow following the invasion of Ukraine.

This rate of deliveries is globally in line with the rate recorded last year over this same period from January to July with a total of 344 devices.

For the whole of 2022, Airbus wants to accelerate deliveries.

The aircraft manufacturer announced last week that it had lowered its delivery target for 2022 to 700 aircraft, from 720 previously, amid tight labor markets and problems in supply chains.
