(CercleFinance.com) – Airbus Helicopters says it has delivered the world’s first ACH160 to a customer in Brazil, on the eve of the 17th edition of the annual Latin American Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (LABACE) in Congonhas airport in São Paulo.
According to data from the Brazilian Association of General Aviation (ABAG), more than 2,500 airports and 1,300 heliports in Brazil use business aviation services through jets, turboprops, piston planes and helicopters.
The ACH160, the latest member of the ACH family, offers 20% more passenger volume than previous generation medium twin helicopters and 15% less fuel consumption than its nearest competitor.
