(Boursier.com) — Airbus and Icelandair have finalized an order for the A321XLR following the Memorandum of Understanding signed in early April. The final purchase agreement is for 13 aircraft with rights for up to 12 additional aircraft. Deliveries will start in 2029. In addition, the Icelandic company has finalized a long-term lease agreement with SMBC Aviation Capital Limited for four A321LRs, whose delivery by Airbus is scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2024.
