Airbus: LATAM takes 13 additional A321neo

(Boursier.com) — LATAM Airlines has taken delivery of its first A321neo leased from AerCap. The South American airline has also placed an order for 13 additional A321neos to further expand its network and drive regional growth. This is the first delivery from an order book comprising 76 A321neos. In total, LATAM is to receive 111 A320 family aircraft. The A321neo allows operators to cover the entire market, while offering the lowest cost per seat mile of all available single-aisle aircraft, Airbus recalls. To date, more than 5,200 A321neos have been ordered worldwide.
