Airbus maintains its annual forecasts


(AOF) – As part of the presentation of its 9-month results, Airbus maintains its forecasts announced in February 2023. The aeronautical company is targeting, in 2023, 720 deliveries of commercial aircraft; adjusted EBIT of approximately €6 billion and free cash flow before M&A and customer financing of approximately €3 billion. Over 9 months, the group announces that its consolidated adjusted EBIT stands at 3.631 billion euros compared to 3.48 billion euros a year ago for the same period.

Consolidated net income stood at 2.332 billion euros (compared to 2.568 billion euros over the 9 months of 2022), i.e. consolidated earnings per share (EPS) (reported) of 2.96 euros (compared to 3.26 euros over the 9 months of 2022).

Consolidated turnover increased by 12% year-on-year to 42.6 billion euros (38.1 billion euros over the 9 months of 2022).

Consolidated free cash flow before mergers and acquisitions and customer financing stood at 1.037 billion euros (2.89 billion euros over the 9 months of 2022).

In addition, Airbus delivered a total of 488 commercial aircraft (437 aircraft over the 9 months of 2022), including 41 A220s, 391 A320 family aircraft, 20 A330s and 36 A350s.
