Airbus: Malaysia Airlines orders 10 A330-900 planes, will lease 10 from Avolon

PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–European aeronautics group Airbus announced on Monday that Malaysia Airlines has ordered ten A330-900 aircraft as part of its fleet renewal.

The Malaysian airline will additionally lease ten A330-900s from aircraft leasing company Avolon, Airbus said in a statement.

The aircraft will be powered by Rolls-Royce engines, Airbus said.
