Airbus: Saudia Group orders 105 A320neo aircraft – 05/20/2024 at 12:28

(CercleFinance.com) – Airbus announced Monday that the public airline Saudia had placed an order for 105 A320neo family aircraft, an agreement estimated at around $11.6 billion at list prices.

Saudia, which represents the Saudi low-cost carrier flyadeal, is purchasing 12 A320neos and 93 A321neos, which will bring its fleet to 144 A320neo aircraft.

This announcement comes as Saudia, which faces growing demand, plans to increase the number of its flights, while the company currently offers around a hundred destinations on four continents.

It also comes as Saudi Arabia has set itself the objective of welcoming more than 150 million tourists per year by 2030.

The A320 family single-aisle aircraft have received nearly 18,000 orders to date from more than 300 customers.
