Airbus: the lessor Aviation Capital Group orders 20 A220s and 40 A320neo aircraft | Photo credits: EADS
PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones) – Aerospace and defense group Airbus announced Thursday that lessor Aviation Capital Group has signed a memorandum of understanding for twenty A220 aircraft and a firm order for 40 A320neo family aircraft , including five A321XLR.
The A220, originally designed by the Canadian group Bombardier, is specially dedicated to the 100 to 150-seat single-aisle market. The A321XLR version offers an additional extension of the range compared to conventional A320s.
