Airbus: Turkish Airlines orders ten additional A350s

(CercleFinance.com) – Airbus announced on Wednesday that Turkish Airlines has ordered 10 additional A350-900s, bringing the total number of aircraft the Turkish airline plans to operate to 40.

This order is in addition to the one already placed last month, which concerns four A350-900s, knowing that Turkish Airlines already operates 14 aircraft from this family.

The A350 – a long-haul aircraft that can accommodate between 300 and 410 passengers – consumes 25% less fuel than previous generation aircraft, while making 50% less noise.

By the end of July, Airbus had totaled more than 1,000 orders for the aircraft.
