(CercleFinance.com) – Airbus announced on Thursday the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Vietjet Air, which plans to acquire 20 wide-body A330-900 aircraft.
The aircraft manufacturer specifies that once finalized, the order will constitute Vietjet’s first for two-aisle aircraft, in line with the airline’s desire to offer ever more distant destinations.
Equipped with the latest generation Rolls-Royce Trent 7000 engines, Vietjet’s A330-900s will be able to cover distances of up to 13,300 km.
