What are these headphones from Apple?
As always, Apple takes care of the design of its product and offers AirPods with a style that hits the mark, even if they remain similar to the first generation. The tactile surface on the stem appears and allows you, with the swipe of a finger, to change the volume and the tracks, to receive your calls, or to activate the noise reduction. In terms of comfort, Apple headphones do not fit completely inside the ear, but fill the ear canal enough to provide excellent support. Comfort is therefore present, even during long listening.
The AirPods Pro 2 deliver quality sound with ample, but never overbearing bass, as well as precise bass and treble. The instruments are well defined and often sound right, apart from a few too rich tracks in which certain instruments tend to overflow. Still, the whole is globally balanced, even at high volume. The earphones deliver clean and natural sound, with perfectly transcribed voice timbres. Whether with nervous pieces or on the contrary, more posed, the audio is impeccable.
Are AirPods Pro 2 a good deal during sales?
Under $240 for Apple’s latest headphones, that’s a bargain. You’ll find them in our guide to the best headphones of 2023. Apple’s second-generation Pro headphones focus on active noise cancellation. The on-board H2 chip does a remarkable job and offers excellent isolation. The bass and midrange are perfectly attenuated, and the surrounding noise is suppressed, apart from certain high-pitched sounds. Adaptive Transparent mode, unlike noise reduction, lets ambient sounds through. Ideal if you prefer to stay aware of your surroundings.
Autonomy level, the headphones last 6 hours with noise reduction activated. Deactivated, you will gain 2 hours more autonomy. It’s not the best autonomy on the market, but it’s a good average. The box provides 30 hours of additional listening time. Finally, the AirPods Pro 2 are IPX4 certified, and are resistant to splashes of water and perspiration. Despite everything, they are not the most recommended headphones for sports activities.
