Airship Syndicate (Darksider Genesis) unveils its new game, Wayfinder

The studio Airship Syndicate begins to make a name for itself thanks to the sympathetic Darksiders Genesis and Battle Chasers: Nightwar, two games praised for their artistic direction. We owe it above all to the talent of Joe Madureira, a well-known artist in the world of comics. After these two games, the studio had given us an appointment for the Game Awards to present its next project, which is none other than Wayfinder.

A bit generic?

For the occasion, Airship Syndicate joins forces with Digital Extremes to offer us this action-RPG which will mainly focus on multiplayer and online cooperation.

In this game, we will embody Wayfinders, who use special daggers to travel through areas infested with dangers that will serve as dungeons. These daggers can also make changes to the rules of each dungeon, with bonuses and penalties to assign. We are therefore heading towards an experience where the loot seems to be of paramount importance, with great replayability and a predominant cooperative aspect. Which is far from the studio’s other proposals, it must be admitted.

And for good reason, Wayfinder will be free-to-play. The game will be released in the fall of 2023 on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5but before that, it will be entitled to a closed beta phase on December 13 on PC and in January on PlayStation consoles.
