Bollywood star Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter are in the hospital after they both tested positive for the corona virus.
Three generations of the most famous Bollywood family are Corona positive: Just days after her husband Abhishek (44) and his father, "The King of Bollywoods" Amitabh Bachchan (77), went to Mumbai hospital for infections, Bollywood Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (46) and her eight-year-old daughter Aaradhya are admitted.
After her husband and father-in-law tested positive, the former Miss World (1994) and her daughter went into isolation. After a few days, both developed "shortness of breath" – a typical Covid 19 symptom. The "Times of India" reports.
Husband Abhishek Bachchan shared last Sunday via Twitter with that his wife and daughter tested positive for Covid-19, but remained in quarantine at home. The rest of the famous Bollywood family, including mother Jaya (72), found the tests to be negative.
India is now becoming the new epicenter of the pandemic: a record 35,000 new cases were recorded within 24 hours on Friday. The South Asian country currently has the third highest number of infections worldwide, after the United States and Brazil.
