(CercleFinance.com) – Akwel publishes a turnover of 922.4 ME for the 2021 financial year, down 1.6% but up 2.8% at constant scope and exchange rates.

In the 4th quarter, however, sales amounted to 223.5 ME, down 20.6% at constant scope and exchange rates, compared to the same period a year earlier.

The company evokes a financial year characterized ‘both by a rebound in activity post-crisis 2020 and a significant lack of visibility on supplies which disrupted the production of its manufacturer customers’.

Despite this, net cash excluding rental obligations increased by 10.0 ME in the fourth quarter, to reach 108.3 ME at the end of the financial year, i.e. an annual increase of 47.7 ME confirming the continuation of a strong generation of free cash flow by the group.

If visibility remains low in 2022 at this stage, the group anticipates an increase in its turnover for this year and indicates that it will also continue to invest in its long-term development, by supporting product developments in its sector. , particularly on new mobility solutions.
