Screen veteran Al Pacino is finally talking about his partnership with Noor Alfallah, the mother of his one-year-old son. Are they a couple?
They welcomed their son Roman into the world on June 30, 2023. But Al Pacino (84) and producer Noor Alfallah (30) are not a couple. The actor revealed his current relationship status told the US tabloid magazine “People” and was surprised.
They are said to have separated just a few weeks after the birth of their son. But then the report was denied. When asked whether Al Pacino is in a relationship at the moment, the “Godfather” now replies: “No. I have a friendship.” His publicist added: “Al and Noor are very good friends, have been for years, and are the parents of their son Roman.”
In his new memoir “Sonny Boy” (to be published on October 15 by Penguin) Pacino writes about many of his relationships – including with actress Diane Keaton (78). And also about his aversion to marriage, which he describes as “entry into the pain train.” “The whole thing is a ticket for the pain train. A ticket or nothing. Are you going or not? No, I’ll stay here. I’ll stay here at the station, I won’t get on.”
“Marriage doesn’t suit me!” Not yet
He puts the dramatic words about marriage into perspective when he continues: “It can definitely suit you. I just, for some reason, never had the feeling that it was suitable for me.”
The birth of his youngest of four children hasn’t changed anything: “I loved living together, and then… It depends on who you get along well with. If you live with someone, then you have to… You have to have this in common,” he suggests that he hasn’t found the right woman yet. “If you don’t have that, it’s almost an invasion. So I want to know if I can find a person that I can connect with.”
Al Pacino is already father to daughter Julie (34, from dancer Jan Tarrant) and 23-year-old twins Anton and Olivia (from actress Beverly D’Angelo). He was first linked to Kuwaiti-American film producer Alfallah in 2022, with whom he worked on the drama “Billy Knight.” A year later, their son Roman was born. Alfallah was previously in a relationship with Mick Jagger (81), who is over 50 years older than him.
