Aladdin: 4 other Disney heroes who went for a ride in the film

Rapunzel and Flynn Rider at the coronation of The Snow Queen, the Dalmatian Pongo at the start of Oliver and Company, Mrs Samovar and her tea service in Tarzan or even a poster of Mulan in Lilo & Stitch…

Many characters from Disney studios have left their original film to come and make a small cameo in another feature film. This tradition, which has continued until today to the delight of fans, was born in the early 90s.

Released in 1992, carried by the Genie of the lamp and its many transformations, Aladdin benefits from a perfect breeding ground for this type of cameos, which are therefore four in number in the film.

• at exactly 45 minutes, when the Genie has just released Aladdin from the Cave of Wonders and the latter promises to use his third wish to free him, the big blue, suspicious of his new master’s honesty, manifests his disbelief while stealthily taking on the features of Pinocchio

• just after, at 45 minutes and 54 seconds, when the Genie opens his book of magic recipes to transform Aladdin into a prince, he pulls out a crab which is none other than Sébastien, the clawed friend of The Little Mermaid

• at 47 minutes and 17 seconds of film, when the Sultan of Agrabah is having fun with his construction game, we can see that one of the pieces represents the hero of Beauty and the Beast

• Finally, at 1 hour, 21 minutes and 54 seconds, just after the final battle against Jafar, when the characters transformed by the Grand Vizier all revert to their original form, watch Rajah carefully, skipping the sequence frame by frame if possible. Indeed, the moment the tiger regains its adult size, the space of a hundredth of a second, its head takes on the features of Mickey Mouse, the famous mascot of the Disney studios.
