Alain Chabat soon back on the air: he invokes King Charles III in a teaser in very good company

Iconic presenter of the game Burger Quiz on TMC, Alain Chabat will soon be back on the air in a new show, which will be broadcast on TF1. The host unveiled a first teaser on Twitter on Friday September 16, 2022.

Revealed to the general public when he formed the band of comedians nicknamed Idiots with Chantal Lauby and Dominique Farrugia in the 80s and 90s, Alain Chabat has now become an actor, as well as a successful director. If he turned to the cinema after having cut his teeth on television, on the antenna of Canal+, the actor has not definitively abandoned the small screen. These last years, Alain Chabat has relaunched his cult game, baptized Burger Quizbut on the antenna of TMC this time. A winning bet, given that the new unreleased numbers achieved excellent audiences in prime time.

After having left television for a while to concentrate on cinema, Alain Chabat will soon be back on the small screen. However, contrary to what many viewers claim, the host is not going to shoot new numbers of Burger Quiz for TMC. On the other hand, Alain Chabat will take control of his own Late Show on TF1as the chain officially announced in a press release published on Friday, September 16, 2022. This new programme, produced by R&G Productions, will soon be broadcast daily on the first channel from 11 p.m.

Alain Chabat slips into the skin of King Charles III for his new show on TF1

In addition to this famous press release, TF1 also posted the same day on Twitter a completely offbeat teaser to announce this new program. Featuring Alain Chabat alongside actress Léa Drucker and comedian Jamel Debbouze, this first trailer is actually a parody of King Charles III. As a reminder, the new British monarch recently piqued anger that went around the world, when he noticed that a pen was not working when signing a document. Alain Chabat therefore slipped into the skin of King Charles III in order to recreate this scene, to simulate the signing of his contract with TF1. For her part, Léa Drucker played the role of Camilla Parker Bowles, and Jamel Debbouze that of the valet.
