Her doctors told me if she has a child she can die […] I couldn’t ask a woman to give me a child to die in the next hour and that’s kind of why we parted”he explained.

Despite their breakup, Alain Delon and Mireille Darc remained very close. The actor also stayed with the actress until his last breath. On August 28, 2017, Mireille D’arc died at the age of 79, following a cerebral hemorrhage.

On this occasion, the Panthéon label, from Universal Music, is releasing a double vinyl album of his most beautiful songs. Because alongside her acting career, she had also distinguished herself as a singer from the 1960s. Some of her texts were even signed Serge Gainsbourg. On the eve of the release of the pothumous double album, Alain Delon wished to send a beautiful declaration of love to the one who was both his friend and his lover. “Mimi, if I had to draw the shape of your universe, I would give it the shape of a heart. If I had to sculpt a woman, it would be you…”, he told AFP, before adding:Your love is my paradise lost…”. Eternal love.
