Released shortly before Halloween last year, Alan Wake 2 turned out to be an excellent survival horrortaking place 13 years after the first part. Remedy Entertainment has promised free expansions, but before that it releases updates to improve the player experience.
After the arrival of New Game+ In The Final Draft, Alan Wake 2 is entitled this week to a new update which corrects a lot of technical problems, but which also adds two elements which should delight players. The first is the possibility of being able to select any chapter of the adventure, to collect objects more easily in particular. The other new feature is the addition ofan adjustment Down Or Normal for the intensity of visual and auditory flashes. As a reminder, Alan Wake 2 includes some jump scaresespecially in a particular level, the addition of this option will prevent the most fearful players from jumping too much and damaging their eardrums.
