Alan Wake 2 has received a new release date and apparently also the latest technology from Nvidia.
The company is currently working on an update to DLSS 3. Alan Wake 2 is said to be one of the first titles alongside Cyberpunk 2077 to receive the new DLSS 3.5. The main focus of the improvements is ray tracing.
New is the introduction of the “Ray Reconstruction” function, which is intended to improve the quality of ray tracing images of all RTX graphics cards from Nvidia.
The previously manually adjusted noise reduction is to be taken over by an AI network in the future, which has been trained by an Nvidia supercomputer.

Alan Wake 2 was originally supposed to be released on October 17th, but the development team has pushed back the release date again. We’ll tell you when the horror title will appear.
According to Nvidia, DLSS 3.5 will be presented at Gamescom 2023. With both Alan Wake 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 listed for the Opening Night Live show, there’s a good chance you’ll get your first glimpses of the upcoming DLSS 3.5 there.
