Alan Wake 2 will be released at the end of the month on computers and latest generation home consoles, it is developed by Remedy Entertainment and will be the sequel to Alan Wake, released in 2010. As in the game, 13 years have passed between the two parts, which is to say that even those who enjoyed the first title at the time have probably forgotten the story.
Fortunately, Remedy published this week a new video which gives us a quick recap of Alan Wake, the first of the name, in order to bring back some memories. The shooting and horror game featured the writer lacking inspiration in the city of Bright Falls, while his wife has disappeared. With the unpleasant feeling of finding himself in a novel that he doesn’t remember having written, he goes explore the city to find Alicekidnapped by a mysterious monster. The end of the video obviously spoils the end of the game but allows us to make the link with Alan Wake 2.
