Alan Wake 2 will be released on October 27th for various platforms after a wait of over 13 years. After the previous title already received two different expansions (“DLCs”), there is now news regarding additional content for the new game.
During the last EDX in London, Sam Lake, creative director at Remedy Entertainment, revealed in an interview that Alan Wake 2 is also getting DLC.
Paid or free extensions?
According to him, these expansions are free DLCs. So any player who purchases Alan Wake 2 will be able to access this additional content in the future. He also emphasizes in the interview that these expansions are significant.
What exactly he means by this and how many DLCs are planned is currently unclear. There will be more information about this in the next few weeks.
