Alan Wake Remastered on Switch, the 2 on the right track, and a TV series

First announcement, and not least: players will be invited to revisit Bright Falls on Switch, since the Nintendo console will also welcome Alan Wake Remastered this fall. Unlike a certain Control Ultimate Edition from the same studio, which used the power of cloudsthe game will run natively on the hardwarebut it will be necessary to be satisfied for the time being with a dematerialized version.

The other good news obviously concerns Alan Wake 2: according to the developers, the production of the game is in full swing – a large part would even be playable, with many elements available. But it will obviously be necessary to be satisfied with the illustrations put online for the event: “We’ve been talking a lot over the past two months and we’ve made the decision, here at Remedy and with our wonderful publisher Epic Games (sic), not to show anything major this summer.

As the Finnish studio explains, “developing a proper demo or trailer requires a lot of effort, which can take up to several months of work at the expense of development“. In other words, it will be necessary to wait before reviewing a public presentation. “We feel like we’re on the right track and (…) we don’t want to distract the team from their goal, so (…) unfortunately you’ll have to wait a bit longer for a demo and tape -announcement.

This does not mean that the teams will rest on their laurels, since the channel AMC and Remedy have agreed on a small-screen adaptation of the universe. The rights have already been negotiated, and if the project materializes, it will be added to the catalog of the American broadcaster, in the same way as breaking Bad and The Walking Dead.
