The fashion world mourns the loss of the designer Alber Elbaz. Stars and colleagues say goodbye on Instagram.

Israeli fashion designer Alber Elbaz has died at the age of 59, as did the Richemont group on Sunday (April 25) on your website announced. The designer worked with the group on his own AZ Factory label. Stars and colleagues said goodbye to the creative fashion designer on Instagram.

Actress Lucy Liu (52, “Charlie’s Angels”) writes to a common picture with the designer: “Rest in peace, dearest Alber – beautiful soul and artist. You have always met your creativity and life with pure joy. I will never forget our time in Paris.”

Musician Carla Bruni (53) also writes to a common snapshot with Elbaz: “How sad. Rest in peace.” She also adds a broken heart emoji. Designer colleague Marc Jacobs (58) also says goodbye under the post with “rest in peace” and a heart emoji.

Stella McCartney: “His talent shone so brightly”

Designer Stella McCartney (49) comments on a snapshot, on which she gives the designer a kiss on the cheek with: “I want to pay my dear friend Alber the greatest respect. He was a light like no other in the world. In fashion, his immense talent shone so brightly that it tore the conventions apart and enveloped a million souls in happiness as they wore his creations. Thank you for making this world a better and brighter place … I love you. ”

Dior designer Maria Grazia Chiuri (57) also remembers loving to her boyfriend Elbaz: “I will never forget how generous, talented and loving he was. He was the first one I felt at home with in the fashion industry. His favorite word was love and with that word I will always remember him. ”
