Albert and Charlene of Monaco: The couple makes a big announcement, the Rock delighted!

They will finally have the chance to discover one of the most beautiful buildings in Monaco: on the Rock, the princely family announced the reopening of the Palais des Princesclosed for 7 years to the public for a huge restoration that will allow visitors to discover the area where has been respected “both the environment and the historical heritage” of the place, according to the official press release. A place that also contains a zoological park and huge gardens.

Gardens which have surely had two very privileged little visitors during these seven years: Jacques and Gabriella, who will be eight years old next December, have been able to enjoy this magical place throughout their childhood… but will now have to share it with thousands visitors per day. A palace where the twins studied during the pandemic, and where they live with their parents, the prince albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, married since the summer of 2011 and living a very busy summer.

Returning from South Africa in November after several months away from her family due to health problems in the ENT sphere, Princess Charlene notably attended with her husband almost all the major events on the Rock, including the Grand Prix of Monaco and the Bal de la Rose, one of the most important moments of the year, which brings the whole family together.

She had also spent time with the sick in the Principality’s hospital, then had a lovely private moment with Pope Francis. In the company of her husband, the young woman had indeed blessed the photos of her children, who had not accompanied them for this short meeting.

But it is one of the only public outings of the summer that the twins missed this summer: adorable sailors for an internship at the beginning of July, they are more and more present with their parents and had accompanied them in particular to Norway, where the whole little family had met the royal couple and the heirs to the throne, Prince Haakon and Princess Mette-Marrit.
