Albert II of Monaco: he won the fight against the corona virus

About two weeks ago, Prince Albert II of Monaco (62) was diagnosed with the coronavirus. His daughter Jazmin Grimaldi (28) told the world on Instagram on Tuesday that her father had been cured and was now in quarantine for two weeks.

Video contact with the family

"Bravo! Our prayers were answered and my father said that the devastating corona virus had healed. He is now free to quarantine his family. This is wonderful news," Grimaldi writes. But she also thinks of those who "were less fortunate and are still severely affected by Covid-19. My thoughts and prayers are with you!"

Prince Albert II will retire to his Roc Agel estate, where his wife Princess Charlene (42) was isolated with her five-year-old twins Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella. He told "People" that they had been in video call for the past few days.

No appointments for the time being

The Regent of Monaco won't work much at first. Most appointments are canceled. "I have not promised to make a public appearance or travel or anything similar for the next month," says Albert II. "I'll take it easy. I still have a slight cough, but that's normal. I've talked to some people, the cough will remain for a while."
