(AOF) – Albioma has announced that it has entered into exclusive negotiations with Turcas Petrol A.Ş. with a view to the acquisition of a second geothermal power plant in Turkey, located in the province of Aydin. This transaction will be finalized in the coming months, subject to the satisfaction of certain conditions precedent, including obtaining prior authorizations from the relevant regulatory and competition authorities.
The acquisition of this plant, with an installed capacity of 18 MWe, is fully in line with the strategy of the renewable energy producer, which intends to strengthen its positioning in geothermal energy and deploy its expertise internationally.
