Album & Interview – Oska: Don’t just stir your own noodle soup

Progress is noticeable
“After the release of my first two songs, I got stressed,” she says in the “Krone” interview, addressing the increased expectations from the outside, “but I was then able to switch off relatively quickly and reflect on my beginnings. We were so focused on finishing this album that we only looked out for ourselves. No matter how the album is received, I did my best. I have the honest feeling of being happy with everything that comes next.” The young musician doesn’t have to worry, because anyone who was happy with her debut work will also enjoy her debut album “My World, My Love, Paris”. The progression in songwriting is clearly noticeable. In addition to the many melancholic and original moments, Oska relies on gentle synth pads and more breadth in the sound. A continuation of the Canadian lumberjack romance, so to speak, without turning away from its own strengths.
