(CercleFinance.com) – The vehicle fleet manager ALD announced on Wednesday that it had generated a “record” net profit in 2022 despite the deterioration of the economic environment.
The Societe Generale subsidiary says it recorded a net profit of more than one billion euros last year, at 1.2 billion euros, an increase of 38% compared to 2021.
The company says it has benefited from the “exceptional” strength of the used car market, with an average selling price per vehicle reaching 2,846 euros in 2022.
ALD plans to offer its shareholders an annual dividend of 1.06 euro per share, an increase of 7.1% compared to the previous financial year.
The company, which is in the process of finalizing the integration of LeasePlan, says it will provide operational guidance for the new entity in 2023 once the acquisition closes.
ALD, whose market valuation now stands at more than 7.1 billion euros, rose 3.6% following this publication on Wednesday morning on the Paris Stock Exchange, signing one of the largest increases in the SBF 120.
