Aldi will sell a Windows 11 notebook from January 3rd. The inexpensive 15.6 notebook should be an all-rounder for home office, leisure and multimedia applications.

Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord will sell the Windows 11 notebook Medion Akoya E15410 from January 3, 2022. The laptop has a 15.6-inch Full HD IPS screen. An Intel Core i5-10210U processor with an onboard graphics chip drives the computer. The processor can access 8 GB of RAM. The built-in SSD is rather tight at 256 GB.

An HD webcam, microphone and two loudspeakers are installed for video conferences and multimedia applications. The battery life is given by Medion under optimal conditions with up to 6.5 hours.

Windows 11 Home is installed as the operating system. Only a test version of Microsoft 365 is pre-installed.

As you can see on the Aldi Süd website, buyers get a three-year guarantee. At Aldi Nord this notice is missing, but it can be assumed that Aldi Nord customers also receive a three-year guarantee,

The Medion Akoya E15410 will be available from January 3rd for 499 euros from Aldi Süd and Aldi Nord.

As a look at our price comparison shows, 499 euros is a good offer for such a notebook; especially because of the three-year guarantee. The Medion Akoya E15410 is a well-balanced all-rounder, with which the common activities such as surfing, mail, messenger, video conferencing and office work as well as occasional simple games can be done well. However, the notebook is not suitable for high-end games or extensive video editing work. You should also consider the small memory size. You cannot transport a larger film collection with it.
