Aldi recall! It’s better to stay away from these nuts

Peanuts, cashews, walnuts, hazelnuts & Co.: They are a popular snack in Germany. According to “Statista”, per capita consumption was 5.5 kilograms in the period 2021/2022. A popular nut variety at Aldi is now being sold PL Food GmbH called back. Affected customers can also return the products to the relevant branches without presenting the receipt.

Note: There are different information in circulation, where the products were sold. According to “produktwarning.eu” they were delivered to various ALDI Süd companies in August. “Lebensmittelwarning.de” reports that the products were sold in the federal states of Bavaria, North Rhine-Westphalia and Schleswig-Holstein, which would also include ALDI Nord.

Instead, a press release from PL Food GmbH states that the products were delivered to branches in Mönchengladbach, Rheinsberg, Ebersberg, Dormagen, Adelsdorf and Langenfeld.
