Alec Baldwin is becoming a dad for the eighth time
These celebs are also multiple fathers

You don’t see too often in show business that a man brings eight children into the world. However, Alec Baldwin is not alone either.
Alec Baldwin (63) and his wife Hilaria (38) will be parents again in autumn 2022. It will be the seventh child for the couple, who have been married since 2012. Daughter Carmen was born in 2013, son Rafael in 2015, little Leonardo followed in 2016 and Romeo two years later. Brother Eduardo was born in 2020 and sister Lucia in 2021. The US actor also has daughter Ireland (26) from a previous marriage to Kim Basinger (68).
With baby number eight on the way, Alec Baldwin is moving into a rather exclusive club – because few celebrity fathers have so many children. Some of them haven’t stopped at eight by a long shot.
Mike Jagger
At the age of 73, Mick Jagger (78) also became a father again late. Born in 2016, Deveraux (5) is Jagger’s first child with partner Melanie Hamrick and eighth overall. The first, Karis (51), gave him singer Marsha Hunt (75). Daughter Jade (50) emerged from the marriage to activist Bianca Pérez-Mora Macías (76). He has four children with his ex-wife Jerry Hall (65), Elizabeth (38), James (36), Georgia May (30) and Gabriel (24). He had another son, Lucas (22), with model Luciana Gimenez Morad. In the meantime, the Rolling Stones frontman is not only a father, but also a multiple grandfather and great-grandfather. Fun Fact: His great-granddaughter is older than his youngest son.
Rod Stewart
Among other things, Baldwin and Jagger are now catching up with Rod Stewart (77), who has eight children from five women. The first, Sarah (58), he and painter Susannah Boffey had to put up for adoption in 1963. The subsequent marriage to actress Alana Hamilton (76) resulted in Kimberly (42) and Sean (41). Daughter Ruby (34) comes from the relationship with model Kelly Emberg (62). Stewart has children Renee, 29, and Liam, 27, with his second wife, model Rachel Hunter, 52, and teenage boys Alastair, 16, and Aiden, 11, with his third wife, model Penny Lancaster, 51. .
Mel Gibson
Growing up with nine siblings, Mel Gibson (66) knows life in a large family from an early age. He now has his own clan, consisting of nine children. Seven of them are from his marriage to actress Robyn Moore (50): Hannah (42), Christian (39), Edward (39), William (37), Louis (34), Milo (31) and Thomas (22). With musician Oksana Grigorieva (52) he fathered another daughter: Lucia (12). The actor’s current partner, author Rosalind Ross (31), gave birth to their son Lars (5) in 2017.
Jermaine Jackson
Michael Jackson’s brother Jermaine Jackson (67) also has nine children after three marriages. The first with Hazel Gordy (67) produced Jermaine Jackson, Jr. (45), Autumn (43) and Jaimy (35), the second with Alejandra Genevieve Oaziaza (52) produced Donte (29), Jaffa (25 ) and Yermajesty (21). The marriage to Halima Rashid (52) remained childless. Daughter Dawn (38) and sons Jeremy (35) and Jourdynn (33) come from two other relationships. Having children seems to run in the family…
Joe Jackson
… because Jermaine’s father Joe Jackson (1928-2018) even has eleven children. The head of the Jackson clan fathered ten of them with his wife Katherine (92): Rebbie (71), Jackie (70), Tito (68), Jermaine (67), Marlon (65), Brandon († 1957), La Toya (65), Michael (1958-2009), Randy (60) and Janet (55). The youngest daughter Joh’Vonnie Jackson (47) comes from the affair with Cheryl Terrell (1925-2014), with whom Jackson led a secret double life for 25 years after the girl’s birth.
Eddie Murphy
Hollywood star Eddie Murphy (60) became a father for the tenth time in 2018. Spice Girl Mel B (46) is one of the five mothers of his children. He only recognized their daughter Angel (14) after she was born in April 2007 after a paternity test. Five other children are from the marriage to composer Nicole Mitchell (54): Bria (32), Miles (29), Shayne Audra (27), Zola Ivy (22) and Bella (20). The following relationships produced sons Eric (32) and Christian (31). With his current partner Paige Butcher (42) he has the nestlings Izzy Iona (5) and Max Charles (3).
Bob Marley
Reggae legend Bob Marley (1945-1981) had many children and is almost as legendary as his music. Eleven children are officially recognized, five of them with his wife Rita (75): Cedella (54), Ziggy (53), Stephen (49), Stephanie (47) and Sharon (57, adopted). Rohan (49), Robbie (49), Karen (49), Julian (46), Ky-Mani (46), Damian (43) and Makeda (40) are born out of wedlock. According to rumours, there is also a high number of unreported cases. Bob Marley is said to have had up to 46 biological children. A large part of the offspring has followed in Papa’s footsteps and is also active in the music industry.
