Actor Alec Baldwin surrounds himself with his family in a remote location after the fatal accident on the set of his film “Rust”.

After the tragedy on the set of his western “Rust”, actor and producer Alec Baldwin (63) withdrew with his wife and children. As the US side “TMZ” reports, the family is said to have been seen “in a small New England town” on Sunday. Photos show Alec and Hilaria Baldwin (37) and the children as they come with bowed heads “from a pizzeria” in the “remote place” in the north-east of the USA.

Meanwhile, authorities at the New Mexico set location are investigating the death of camerawoman Halyna Hutchins (1979-2021), who was shot and killed by Baldwin on October 21 while rehearsing a scene. Director Joel Souza (48) was also injured in the incident, but was discharged from the hospital the next day.

Baldwin is said not to have known that the gun in his hand was loaded with live ammunition. Assistant director Dave Halls handed it to him and said it was a “cold weapon”. Halls later admitted to police that he hadn’t properly checked the gun.

Last Saturday, Baldwin met with Hutchins’ husband and son in New Mexico, not far from the location.
