Did Alec Baldwin lie? Eight months after the drama on the set of the film Rust which resulted in the death of a person, the investigation has taken a step forward. As a reminder, the comedian accidentally shot two members of the film crew. The director, Joel Souza, had been hit but got away with it. Unfortunately, this was not the caseHalyna Hutchins, the director of photography on the set, who died of her injuries. At many times, Alec Baldwin spoke up to assure that he had not pulled the trigger. He had even declared that he felt neither guilty nor “responsible” of the death of the mother of the family, assuring that it was she who had asked him to point his revolver at her and that the shot had gone off without him having pressed the trigger.
Only, the conclusions of the investigation carried out by the FBI comes to deny this version of the facts. According to information from TMZ, a person must have pulled the trigger to fire the weapon. Indeed, the investigators estimated that with the model that was used on the set, a ball could not have been released without the intervention of a person.
Alec Baldwin didn’t necessarily lie
“I would never point a gun at someone and pull the trigger, never“, had yet assured the actor. TMZ reports, however, that Alec Baldwin would not necessarily have lied. Indeed, it cannot be ruled out that on the day of the tragedy, the weapon used may have malfunctioned.
