Alena Gerber is expected to appear in cinemas alongside John Malkovich in 2023. She is shooting an action film with the Hollywood star.
Model and actress Alena Gerber (32) will shoot an action film with Hollywood stars John Malkovich (68) and Thomas Jane (53). The 32-year-old told the “Bild” newspaper in an interview. “It’s my first international shoot. It will be an action film that will probably be released in cinemas in 2023,” she confirmed.
“Like a dream”
Gerber could not reveal the title of the film yet. For the actress, who has already appeared in “Traumschiff” and “Verbotene Liebe”, everything is “still a bit like in a dream”. It was “surreal to suddenly work together with the people you know from the cinema”. Gerber couldn’t be happier about the film she explains on Instagram to a picture from London. There she confirms that filming should begin on Friday.
John Malkovich has been a fixture in Hollywood for years. The American has already appeared in productions such as “Being John Malkovich” and “The Empire of the Sun”. Thomas Jane is known from films such as “Dreamcatcher” and “Boogie Nights”.
