NFL pro dies in horrific accident aged just 28

Mourning for Alex Collins. The former NFL player died in a horrific accident at the age of just 28.
Former NFL professional Alex Collins (1994-2023) is dead. He was only 28 years old. Collins passed away According to “CBS Miami” last Sunday evening (local time) in the city of Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle. Former teammates and clubs of the professional athlete have thought with emotional statements from the deceased.
Horror crash while turning manoeuvre
The police in the US state of Florida have shared a detailed report on the course of the accident. Accordingly, the ex-NFL player was on his motorcycle when suddenly a car coming from the opposite direction turned off. Collins’ motorcycle then collided with the back of the turning vehicle and he was thrown through the car’s window. In addition, the vehicle turned due to the force of the impact before it came to a standstill. Collins was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The police have started investigations into the course of the accident.
Former companions remember the deceased
“It was a pleasure to be around Alex,” said his former Baltimore Ravens coach, John Harbaugh, 60, of the deceased. Opposite Collins’ family pressed Harbaugh on behalf of the whole club his “heartfelt condolences”. The association itself also posted a commemorative post. It said that Collins was a “truly kind person” who “brought light and love to so many people in his life.”
His former teammate Russell Wilson (34), with whom Collins played for the Seattle Seahawks, referred to the deceased in a post as “one of my favorite teammates”.
Collins was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in 2016. In 2017 he switched to the Baltimore Ravens. In his freshman year, his most successful season in the NFL, he had six touchdowns and rushed for 973 yards as a running back for the club. Collins most recently played for the USFL club Memphis Showboats.
