More and more models are making serious allegations against Alexander Wang. Did the star designer drug and sexually harass you?
The American designer Alexander Wang (37) is faced with serious allegations. In the past few days, more and more male and transgender models have spoken out and reported of sexual assaults by the fashion designer, as the fashion portal "WWD" ("Women's Wear Daily") was the first to report. According to this, several people report independently of one another how Wang first fed them drugs and then sexually molested them or sometimes forced them to engage in sexual acts.
On the Instagram page of "Shit Model Management", a platform that has set itself the task of addressing and exposing grievances in the fashion world, more and more accusations against the designer are accumulating. The founders of the account are now calling to stop following Wang on Instagram and to boycott his fashion label, which he founded in 2005.
The controversy was started by a TikTok video by model Owen Mooney, in which he first told of an attack by an unnamed designer. He later confirmed in another clip that it should have been Wang. According to "WWD", Wang's label had been asked for a statement on the allegations, but that was rejected by a spokeswoman last Tuesday (December 29).
