Practice early! The daughter of Alexander Zverev and Brenda Patea seems to be enthusiastic about dad’s passion at a young age, as new photos on Instagram prove.
While Alexander Zverev, 24, spends a break in the mountains after his surprising exit at the Australian Open with Sophia Thomalla, 32, ex-girlfriend Brenda Patea takes care of their daughter Mayla in Berlin at home. On Sunday, January 30, 2022, mother and daughter will follow the final of the first Grand Slam this year – and Mayla in particular already seems to be enthusiastic about her father’s passion.
Alexander Zverev: His daughter is enthusiastic about his sport
Brenda Patea shares two shots of Mayla from behind on Instagram. Alexander Zverev’s daughter holds a small tennis racket in her hand and apparently tries her first serve. “Sunday morning…” Brenda comments on the photos of her daughter. It just never seems too early for a game of tennis.
The fans of the former “Germany’s Next Top Model” candidate see it similarly. “It’s a tennis baby” comments one user, another writes: “Like the father …”. “If she continues like this, she will soon be the first in the family to have a Grand Slam,” jokes another follower.
Brenda Patea + Alexander Zverev: separation despite pregnancy
The daughter of Brenda Patea and Alexander Zverev was born on March 11, 2021, the couple separated the previous summer despite Brenda’s pregnancy. “I will do everything to ensure that it grows up in a harmonious environment. I am in the fortunate position of being able to raise the child on my own,” Patea said in an interview with GALA at the time. And Alexander Zverev also emphasized in various interviews how much he is looking forward to his first child: “I think that will be the most important thing in my life.”
