Since 2003 Alexandra Rietz has been working as “K11” commissioner. But now she stops at the pseudo-documentary.
Alexandra Rietz (50) stops. The former police superintendent has been solving cases based on real police work with interruptions in the pseudo-documentary “K11 – Commissioners in action” since 2003. But now she wants to devote herself to other (TV) tasks. That gave Rietz known on her Instagram page.
In the same breath Reitz also promises a return. Soon she will be on Sat.1. To see gold. Since 2020 she has presented the true crime documentary series “Unsolved and unforgotten” at the special interest broadcaster. It is not yet known whether their comeback will be new episodes of this format.
From the real police to “K11”
The trained tax assistant studied until 1997 at the University of Applied Sciences of the Police in Oldenburg. Then she worked for the local criminal police. In 2003 Rietz switched to television in his own capacity. In 2003 she belonged to the first line-up of “K11 – Kommissare im Einsatz”, where she investigated alongside Michael Naseband (56). The pseudo-documentary ran successfully in the evening program on Sat.1 until 2016 and later on Sat.1 Gold.
In 2020 Rietz’s commissioners celebrated a comeback, now under the title “K11 – The New Cases”. Rietz has also appeared in various television formats, including “Fort Boyard” (2011) and “Promi Big Brother” (2014).
