Very quickly, the disappearance of this blogger in Gray-la-Ville in Haute-Saône turned into a case of sordid feminicide since her husband Jonathann Daval admitted to having killed her during yet another argument. If the man is now languishing in prison, Alexia’s mother, Isabelle Fouillot continues to speak in the media to honor the memory of her daughter.
“It’s been six years since she left and it seems like it was yesterday. I no longer have a goal, my life no longer has any meaning, any taste, apart from my family and the fight against femicide. […] I don’t know what the word mourning means.” she declared in the columns of Parisian.

“We talk about the fact that Émile’s family is ultra-Catholic, that they have many children, but we don’t care about all that, she protested. A little boy has disappeared, what does this have to do with a large Catholic family?” she then asks herself before recalling that “in the affair of little Grégory […] we questioned his family”. “As if we had to look for something every time. It’s heartbreaking. We would do better to look among the relatives of the murderers”.
